This collection of large scale environmentally responsive, shape changing knitted fabrics, is constructed from linen and wool.

Studio set up showing Flux, knitted as eight individual panels and assembled for exhibition.

Flux illustrates a variety of shape change behaviours, at the scale of the knitted stitch, the knit structure, and the assembled form.

The video illustrates this unique textile environment sensing and responding to changes in moisture level through programmed shape change behaviour.
